I’m British and I’m leaving the UK and want a Tax Rebate because…

I’m going travelling or backpacking and I will not be returning to work in the UK until at least the end of the tax year
If you are planning on travelling overseas and you are likely to subsequently stop working in the UK until at least the end of the tax year (ending 5th April), you may very well be due some money back from HMRC, provided that you worked in the UK and paid tax in the same tax year you’re going travelling.

What we charge…

20%* of the refund value, subject to a minimum administration fee of £80. We’ll charge you either the £80 administration fee or the 20% rate, whichever is the higher.

Our fee includes:

  • All calculations & computations
  • Completing all official paperwork
  • Submitting paperwork and liaising with HMRC
  • Regularly updating you

No need to pay us anything upfront, we will simply deduct our fee directly from your refund and repay you the balance, directly into your bank account. Bank transfers to UK bank accounts are free of charge. Bank transfers in other currencies will be subject to a small fee to cover our own bank charges; these fees vary depending on the country where your account is held.

NO REFUND, NO FEE!

If you are not due a refund, we won’t charge you anything!

Price match guarantee

We challenge you to find a cheaper rate anywhere else for the same service! That’s right, if you ever did find a cheaper quote, we want to know about it and we’ll be happy to match it, provided you can provide the source of your quote as evidence.

I’m going to work for an overseas employer
If you worked in the UK prior to emigrating and you paid income tax in the same tax year you’re leaving the UK, you may very well be due some tax back.
I intend to work abroad for a UK based employer
If you are leaving the UK for a period of at least one full tax year to work overseas for a UK based employer, it is a mandatory requirement that you tell HMRC by using the relevant forms (although it is unlikely you would be due a tax rebate).
We can help you with submitting all relevant forms.

What we charge…

15%* from any refund due to you, subject to £99* minimum administration fee. We'll charge you either the £99 administration fee or the 15% rate, whichever is the higher.

*VAT at 20% will be automatically added to the fee only if you reside in a country part of the European Union.

Our fee includes:

  • All calculations & computations
  • Completing all official paperwork
  • Submitting paperwork and liaising with HMRC
  • Regularly updating you
I’m retiring abroad
If you are keeping any income (i.e. investments) or assets (i.e. properties) in the UK while retiring overseas, you are required by law to complete a tax return. This is because HMRC will need to work out that you pay the correct amount of tax; in some cases, you may even be able to claim some tax back.
